So today apple released some new ipod products and software for itunes and i'm happy but sad in a lot of ways. I'll tell you why so here is the new line up...

They look pretty nice don't they oh yes. But hmmm an iPod classic? Well we'll get into that boys and girls.

So like it or not it became fat that also means a 320-by-240-resolution display with video and what apple says a 65% brighter screen. Still, they do kind of look ugly as sin and the colors... not working for me like the blue and whatever green that is...

It also sports the new interface (more on that later). They come in a 4 and 8 GB model starting at $150. Maybe because apple knows this little hefer maybe a hard buy, you get three free games Vortex, iQuiz, and Klondike. Not like you'll ever play any of these but you know.

Really though It almost makes the nano look ... cheap or like every other MP3 player.

Ah the classic. New interface same god old design. Not that the ipod is a bad design but it's really starting to show its age like every dell mid range tower sold to consumers...

With 80GB or 160GB of storage it's a bit sad that this model to buy if you watch or have a lot of videos and want to watch them on the go. Though it does come with a new metal shell! I guess apple was getting a bit pissed with people getting pissed the iPod would scratch when, you know... you looked at them. It also comes with Vortex, iQuiz, and Klondike again, games you'll almost never play and if you do... it'll be solitaire... you know it's true.

The photo section got an update however, if by update you mean a different background color then yeah sure!

The cool part is it has built in wi-fi like the iphone. However like the iphone it does not support flash so it has a separate youtube icon since it formats it in a different way. So yeah up yours Zune... sharing songs pffft freakin web browse bitch! What?

BUY MUSIC ONLINE THROUGH THE IPOD WOOT!!!
This part is cool. Finally you can buy music on the go and put it in your ipod. With the DRM free music I can see how this would work well but with the DRM... I have to check more on this cause that's a bit ehhh.

Starbucks music
Say you're listening to music in Starbucks and you like the song that's playing you can get it from your ipod and download it... I guess that's cool in an appleTV pointless kind of way...

It also has all the other glam and ah about the iphone from multi touch to ambient light sensors that knows when your outside or inside.

It also seems that the Touch is the same software hardware as the iphone. So while the apps from the iphone are not in the touch.... They will be soon (perhaps not from apple though) Mod community anyone?

What's not to like? two numbers 8 and 16 that's how many gigs are in the touch with a price of $300 and $400 I don't know. I mean it's nice it's a full screen video touch ipod but you would think this is meant for video and if it is, you kind of want more then just 16GB because let's face it, while we may not buy a lot of video from the store we do have a lot of converted video. I know I have about 4 or 5 movies on my ipod 30GB and that's not gonna have a lot of room for my video podcasts, 1 to 2 hour audio podcast and a couple hundred songs. Is this really worth it? I don't know.

It also seems from an Engadget posting that the Touch may have blue tooth built in like the iphone. Wireless stereo headphones anyone? Or even blue tooth transfers instead of docking? I hope so but i'm guessing not. Thanks apple.. thanks A LOT!

iTunes

iTunes got a lift or at least getting one. The big one? Purchase tracks through the ipod and wifi. FINALLY! I hope it works and not bugged the hell out thanks to DRM.

From what apple says all you do is sync your ipod to your mac or pc and it just transfers and you can sync with any other ipod product like it was nothing... we'll see apple... we'll see.

Ringtones aka the rip off buy

ok HOW THE HELL are you going to charge me an extra 99¢ for a song I already own and have to cut to what really should be a "sample" you usually get in the itunes store? HOW?! This is just a rip off a total rip off. I'm not going to even go into how this works or if it's worth it, because unless your some kind of sad retarded born yesterday clone type deal you'll know if this is worth it or not.. jack asses.

So what do I think of the new iPods? Eh really just Eh just like the new mac designs, the only thing that has me excited is the mod community for the ipod and the next OS.

I don't like the colors really, I don't like that the touch (true video ipod) at it's highest has a 16GB drive and I don't like the style of the nano.

Not that I hate any of them I just think this is apple, these are kind of eh products. I guess we'll have to see about upgrades to drives and maybe style or color changes.

We all remember Myst.... well some of us. A point and click puzzle game. Either you loved it or hated it (For the most part, you hate) but it was a relaxing game to play on the old computer once in a while. However this is not a "lite" game. I remember writing things down on paper working sometimes 20 minutes just to figure what the hell was going on. So when I saw this...

Ok, first of all I really didn't like how you "zoomed" into text on the opera browser and I'm sure has hell not going to like reading "script" looking at drawings like this either.

Second of all, the ambient noises and sound was great. While the Speakers on the ds are ok.... they're not going to capture that feel the old Myst games had.

It really doesn't look like it adds anything new, and a game like this was death on a console forget a hand held a system designed for pick up and go gaming ... WTF? Who thought this was a good idea anyway? Who thought that for some reason someone would want to play this on a DS? Who I ask WHO?

As some of you may know it's been a while since i've played a good street racing game. The first one I liked was Need For Speed Underground. However, thanks to EA and knowing how to kill a franchise the game just gradually turned into suck and now even if the NFS games are better... I don't care. Then i found Midnight Club Dub Edition and omg I fell in love with it all over again. So when I moved onto a 360 and that game didn't work I was like FU to Microsoft and Hello to Burnout So when I saw this trailer I was like YES.

The game is trying to go for somewhat realism this time though if you ever played the older ones ... yeah not so much with shock waves and matrix style turning. You "flash" your lights if you want to start a race, you have point systems to progress in the game, rating on how well you handle and what position you finish in.

The city is about 100% true to LA and about 3 times the sizes of Dub Editions city, and along with a day and night cycle comes real time weather effects and real time traffic. For example, you'll have more traffic during the day then night.

This game is definitely on my want list

Granted any driving game for the wii that does NOT use a freakin wheel is border line retarded but what are you gonna do. They built the wii to play mini games and ports with waggle control.. not ... for real gamers... Anyway, this looks pretty good especially since it's pretty much a port.

Ah Excite Truck, the game that had the nerve of changing a tried and true formula and turn it into a redneck ugly stripped down version of Burn Out... Kind of like Britney Spears to ... Britney spears 5 years ago... (score one for me) True this game is .. crap but at least it has nice um, fire and blur effects...

Ok so I guess what happened here was someone saw the game auto modellista decided they liked the graphics but didn't actually play it and also decided to strip down the graphics to a cell shaded game..... So they made the game look even worse because I guess they thought adding better looking cell shading to a game was a dumb idea.... whatever at least this kind of had a "style" going for it.

Beautiful Katamari is a great game. It's unique, colorful and has interesting if not creative game play mechanics... oh hold on is this 2004? uhh uhh NO!

Ok This is the fourth game in the Katamari installment though you really couldn't tell since the game is basicly an over priced map packs with "updated" game play. Ok dudes, the first one was great I freakin loved it. The second one.. ok? It was good. You raised the price 10 bucks... jack ass... but it was still fun... Then.. oh then game gods you put this game on the PSP, the game uses two analog sticks (tank controls) the psp has ONE and it SUCKS! but that didn't stop you, even if and IF (is a big word here) this worked ... you had load times in between katamari sizes.. WTF?!

Anyway, I had some time to play with the Demo for the 360 and while it's a good game .. it really has NOT changed... The game is fun, playing the demo reminded me how cool this game was and still is. Though paying over $20 bucks for this game still seems like a rip off. It is true, I love the points and I will get this game because like bush.. I am a bit retarded.

I understand this game isn't made to look "next gen" and I'm ok with that, but come on, let it die. Please let this die before people start to hate you and your soul.

From the dudes that brought you fine games like Saints Row will bring you in 2008 Pirates vs ninja themed games. Dodgeball being one of the first, it seems like it'll be a Mario sports type of gameplay with the real game and then "other devices" built into the game like weapons to foil the evil Pirates.

This game sounds like it's going to go on the PSN or XBLA service but who knows. Maybe even PSP or DS although the ds is already getting it's own dodgeball game. I'm willing to slam down 400 or 500 points to end this debate once and for all, who is better, pirates or ninjas?

Ok never mind that it's Heath Ledger and SOOOO not the joker. The first shots seem kind of bland. Not dolled up, very dirty. I guess that's the direction they want to go with this film and this "new" Batman Universe. But ok, the origin story of Batman Begins was great but don't screw with an already good movie that you're, maybe not trying to remake but re imagine. The Joker from the first batman was already great. You can't get better then Jack Nicholson and the way they brought Joker to life.

The last movie introduced the scarecrow character and though he wasn't bad, it wasn't a villain in the batman style, very over the top, very "comic book"style. The way the new batman movies portray villains seems more like "what if this was a real guy and make this villain as real as possible" In that film it didn't bother me because it was more about Bruce Wayne becoming batman not really scarecrow vs batman.

If they try to do the same thing with Joker however... I don't know. I mean dude fell in a vat of chemicals and somehow became white with purple hair and liked to smile a lot. I don't really want them to "real it up" in the next batman movie. I want a dude that was kind of psychotic in the first place, to fall in a vat of whatever it is and turn into the joker.Hell even the short film "dead end" had a better Joker then this one....

That's the joker I wanted.. not this...
